About The Author

Peggy Porschen moved to London from her native Germany in 1998 to study French patisserie at the Cordon Bleu school. She later worked at London’s Lanesborough Hotel and was a cake decorator at Konditor & Cook. Quickly developing her own highly individual style, she set up her own business, which was instantly successful, making cakes and cookies for clients like Elton John, Stella McCartney and Madonna. She also collaborates on couture cakes with Jenny Packham and supplies Fortnum & Mason with seasonal ranges of decorated cookies and cakes, and recently launched her wedding cake collection there. She recently opened her first shop in London’s Belgravia.
