Ella James Living was launched by two sisters Ashley and Alison Todd in 2009. After leaving London and careers in Fashion and Medicine, they decided to fulfil a lifelong ambition of setting up an Interiors and Gift mail order business together.

With a passion for eclectic , imaginative and inspiring products, they set about sourcing the pieces for their ' Ella James' range , named after two of their eldest children. The result is a wonderful one-stop shop, perfect for finding gorgeous gifts for all occasions alongside unique pieces for the home and garden.

Sourcing their children's ranges , they looked back to traditional toys and clothes that have a timeless appeal .They have found a pretty collection of wicker prams and bicycle baskets which compliments the popular range of rag dolls in floral and gingham dresses . They also stock delightful hand embroidered cotton nighties & pyjamas for boys and girls .

A new collection of children's wall stickers featuring the artwork of British Illustrator Mandy Sutcliffe was launched at the 'Spirit of Summer' Spring Fair in 2011 and was an instant hit. The stickers offer the perfect solution to decorating a new nursery or updating a bedroom. Designs include Yummy Pink Donuts , Huggable Rabbits, Flying Hot Air Balloons, Dinosaurs and Cowboys & Indians.

The homewares range is a mix of modern pieces combined with vintage and retro finds. The emphasis is always on the unusual and eye-catching, favorites are the handmade cockle shell and driftwood heart wreaths.

As they found that many brides were using the website to source decorative pieces for their Weddings, in May 2011, Ella James launched a new section entitled 'Styling a Wedding' to showcase table decorating and lighting ideas.

Now in its second year, the range has a following of loyal customers and has been featured in publications such as Country Homes & Interiors, Country Living, House Beautiful and Junior magazine.
