Lynne Marcus creates contemporary garden design throughout the U.K. Lynne offers a full service, either rationalising small urban space, or undertaking significantly larger country estate projects.

Lynne has been designing gardens since 1997, she trained with Professor David Stevens before embarking upon her successful career as a garden designer. She has a comprehensive and prolific portfolio ranging from courtyards, roof terraces and family gardens to grand-scale projects.

Her work includes contemporary and traditionally styled gardens, often with a contemporary twist and formal and naturalistic gardens. Projects are predominately in London but are also undertaken in the Home Counties.

Lynne’s design ethos is based upon simplicity of geometry and form, coupled with the sensitive use of natural materials. Her work is instantly recognisable for its pared-down, elegant style and integration of materials. Planting schemes are noted for their structure and in particular, her imaginative use of an extensive palette of perennials, grasses, ferns and bulbs.

Each garden is individualistic, as key to her consultancy’s success is ensuring that every garden is tailored to match client requirements, complements the interior design and architecture of the house and sits comfortably in its environs.

A planting and styling service is also available for those who have a garden, terrace, courtyard or roof garden needing a lift, but not necessarily a full garden design service. New planting, gravel paths and clearings, stylish planters, furniture, water features and accessories can give your garden a whole fresh look.
