Disney Announces Route of Rapunzel’s Royal Procession in a Global First for the Capital

Disney, in association with Historic Royal Palaces, has officially announced details of the first ever Disney procession in central London. The event will take place on Sunday 2nd October in Kensington Gardens between 1 and 1:30pm. On that day, Disney will be welcoming Rapunzel as the 10th Disney Princess character, joining Ariel, Aurora, Belle, Cinderella, Jasmine, Mulan, Pocahontas, Snow White and Tiana, who will all be taking part in the magical parade. The festivities will start at the ‘Queen’s Gate Lodge’ entrance at 1pm and Disney invites you to witness this momentous occasion for free.

The best place for fans to watch in Kensington Gardens is along ‘Mount Walk’, close to Kensington Palace, where the procession will finish at 1:30pm. Please find the official Rapunzel Princess Procession Route Map above.

Turning dreams into a reality, little girls can watch their favourite Disney Princesses make their way through Kensington Gardens in their very own horse-drawn carriages, before Rapunzel enters Kensington Palace to be crowned the10th Disney Princess character in front of VIPs and celebrities.
