This is such a clever book, once started you just want to keep reading, such is the way that Libby builds the scenario inside Stella’s Café. The vivid descriptions of the café and the sharply observed descriptions of the people inside have such a reality that you really feel that café actually exists. Although it focuses on the two main characters of Hannah and Mona and their friendship; the stories of the other visitors to the café and the other members of the staff including Stella, have a poignancy and heartwarming quality that makes this such a standout piece of writing. Beautifully written, this is a touching and uplifting story of friendship, community and life.

We absolutely loved it and are delighted to add it to our Favourite Fiction Books of 2020! Highly Recommended!
